I was tryin to find Launch Properties but I dont have it in the menu in Steam.

I just did "mat_dxlevel 70" in the console

I found a site with some things, Ill PM it to you so you can determine if its something youd like to put up here.

Yeah Ive been trying to use the stick more often, just hard to do with everything a little choppy...one second someones beside you the next second theyre gone and you cant find them...lol

Its a little better now, actually came in second on a 4 player game last night Very Happy

Got the card, gaming graphics jumped from a 4.2 rating to a 5.4. Very Happy

For some reason the processor is only registering at a 2.2...which is odd because it was 5.0 when I bought it...I have to figure out how to fix it because 3Ghz should handle this game without a problem.

From what Ive done I was able to run all settings on high and Dx9 without an issue, rides at 30-40FPS with spikes up to 70FPS...but I was by myself, not sure what a room full of people will do for me. :/

I think the lack of FPS is because of the processor, like I said Ill see what I can do about that, but nonetheless the game is MUCH more playable now. Very Happy

Nah, processor should not matter. I'm at 3ghz. With that fps you may still be too low with a full box.
Other than looking pretty there is no benefit from running everything on high.
I would drop shader detail and model detail to medium, Simple reflections, and bi-linear. ;)
But we can see when were in game.

3ghz doesn't really mean much these days. Mast last computer had a 3ghz processor but it was a single core processor and a Celeron D to boot. My current computer has a 2.2ghz processor but it is a quad core and it's 1000x faster than the 3.0ghz celeron. These days processor performance has more to do with cores and Lcaches than ghz. Also that card you got may not be a gaming card but it will play alot of games just fine. When people talk about gaming cards they are talking about cards that will play crysis on mid-high settings at a good frame rate. I spent almost $1k dollars on my rig now and I still can't get that game to run at 60fps on ultra high settings.

I tore down the computer to bare bones last night, ripped everything out, cleaned everything, and replaced the heatsink -processor gunk(cant recall its name right now), the computer runs REALLY quiet now, the fan used to run wide open ALL the time, now its barely noticeable Very Happy

Ill be turning down the settings, I just upped it to see what it would do, when I put my onboard to all high settings I could barely get 6-7FPS out of it...lol

Ill be on tonight Very Happy

There will be blood shed...hehehe

It may be mostly MY blood, but thats beside the point...lol

Oh, by the way, I downloaded EVEREST Ultimate Edition, which tells you everything about your comp....my processor is running at 77`F but my motherboard sensor says the MB is running at 185`F???? Is the sensor bad?

I cant believe how quiet the comp is now, and I redid the test, heres the result before and after the cleaning.

Taken in server #3 with lowest graphics running dx9, if I throw full graphics on I go down to 130 FPS.

The game I was just in that had 5 people on it I was running at the highest graphics with dx9 and I was averaging about 70-80 FPS
